A Story of Resilience and Hope.
Robbie Olsen was abandoned by his father at the age of five and then by his mother a few years later. Despite these hardships, he never gave up hope and never stopped dreaming.
Robbie and his siblings were saved from starvation by the kindness of a Mennonite family. They were forced to leave their mountaintop home and walk fifteen miles into town, where they found lodging in a two-room apartment.
At the orphanage, Robbie learned to survive and thrive. He was able to move ahead even as his siblings suffered the effects of abuse and neglect. Against all odds, he found meaning and joy, success, and finally, a place of belonging in the world.
Robbie's story is a testament to the power of the human spirit. It is a story of resilience, hope, and the importance of never giving up on your dreams.
