Nurses are experts at explaining complex medical information in a way that anyone can understand. The Nurse Florence® book series is a great example of this, providing high-quality medical information that even children can grasp. By introducing young kids to medical terminology and science concepts at an early age, we can help them develop a strong foundation in health literacy. This can also help prepare them for future careers in science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM). The hope is that many children will enjoy this book series and consider a career involving science. Introducing some medical words to kids in every book is a great way to spark their interest in STEM and help them learn about the world around them.
