Nurses are often the ones who can make complex medical information understandable to the average person. The Nurse Florence® book series aims to do just that, providing high-quality medical information in a way that even children can understand. By exposing young children to accurate medical terminology and scientific concepts at a young age, we can help them develop a strong foundation in health literacy. This will prepare them for future courses and careers in STEM fields, such as science, technology, engineering, and math. We believe that it is important to encourage children to pursue careers in science, and we hope that the Nurse Florence® book series will inspire them to do so. Each book in the series introduces new medical words, helping children to build their vocabulary and understanding of the human body. We believe that this is an important step in preparing children for a future in STEM.
