Two frenemies, Helen and Alice, find themselves drawn into an unlikely partnership as they navigate life's second act. Helen is a prim-and-proper real estate agent who has worked hard for her success. But after her husband leaves her for a younger woman, she finds herself back in her small New England hometown, feeling lost and humiliated. Alice is an aging hippie who has always been Helen's opposite. But when the town votes on whether to allow the sale of recreational marijuana, the two women find themselves on the same side of the issue. They decide to start a business together selling marijuana-infused products, and they soon discover that they have more in common than they thought. As they work together, Helen and Alice learn to appreciate each other's strengths and weaknesses. They also learn to forgive each other for their past mistakes. In the end, they find that they have formed a true friendship, and they are both stronger and happier for it.
