Cameron (Cam) Warner needs someone to help him deal with life, and it's waiting around the corner. The stocky thirteen-year-old boy is on the hit list of the school bully, his mom doesn't like his new friends, and his little sister is her usual giant pain. As if that weren't enough, he lives on poverty row, plus he must take turns visiting his separated father on the weekends. If it weren't for his childhood friends, Lawrence and Marcy, life would be a total shutdown.
When Cam is forced to do a school assignment or miss the weekend with his dad, the world is turned upside-down. He finds himself in a strange cartoon world called Worpple. This new world is filled with incredible life-threatening adventures wrapped up in silly fun. With his Worpple friends, Breem, Dwinda, Marvel, and Wixer, Cam gains lessons that will last a lifetime. In his struggles to save Worpple, and eventually this world, from the Evil Magician, Can learns that the power to overcome adversity is within himself.
Lynn Kathleen Russell puts her five-star talents into a children’s book that is as warm and fuzzy as a down comforter in front of the fireplace on a cold night. At least it started as a children’s book, but so many adults love it, that she is tempted to call it a “Family Book”. Lynn was a family counselor for 30 years before she retired.
